Sarracenia Oreophila is a carnivorous plant native to the Appalachian Mountains. This species of Sarracenia has bright green leaves that are covered in red-brown spots. The plant has a tall, trumpet-shaped trap that is lined with downward-facing hairs that act as a slippery surface, preventing prey from escaping. Inside the trap, the Sarracenia has an acidic digestive fluid that helps to digest the insect prey.

The average height of a Sarracenia Oreophila is approximately 15-20 cm, and the leaves can reach up to 30 cm in length. The pitchers of this plant are capable of trapping a wide variety of insects, such as flies, wasps, mosquitoes, and even spiders.

The flowers of the Sarracenia Oreophila are pink and can reach up to 10 cm in height. The plant blooms in late spring and summer and can produce up to 30 flowers per plant.

Sarracenia Oreophila is a hardy plant and can survive in temperatures as low as -15°C. The plant prefers soils that are acidic and boggy, and it does not require much water or fertilizer.

This species of Sarracenia is also known for its ability to self-pollinate, which means it can produce viable seeds without the help of another plant. The seeds are dark brown and small, and can be harvested and planted to propagate new Sarracenia Oreophila plants.
