1. Cosmos is a beautiful annual flower that is easy to grow and is perfect for any garden. It produces fragrant, bright pink, purple, and white blooms that attract butterflies and other pollinators. The flowers look like daisies and are perfect for cutting and adding to floral arrangements.

2. The Cosmos plant grows from seed and blooms in late summer and early fall. It can grow up to 3 feet tall and prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It can tolerate some drought but will need regular watering for best results.

3. Planting Cosmos is easy and rewarding. It is best to start the seeds indoors about 8 weeks before the last frost date. The seeds should be planted about 1/8-inch deep and covered lightly with soil. The seedlings should be transplanted outside a few weeks after the last frost.

4. The Cosmos plant is a great choice for gardeners of all levels. It is low maintenance and requires little fertilization. If the plants become crowded, it is best to thin them out to ensure that they have enough space to grow.

5. The best part about Cosmos is the plentiful, fragrant blooms. Once the plants start to bloom, they will produce hundreds of flowers that will last all season long. This makes them a perfect addition to any garden or landscape.

3. Till the soil to rid it of weeds and to increase air circulation. Apply compost to the soil after tilling.

4. Place two or three in a hole about ½ to 1 inch deep in the soil along a fence or under a 6-foot-tall trellis form. The holes should be 15 to 23 inches apart and rows 3 to 5 feet apart. You can also start in small plastic pots in a commercial soil mix.
