1. Snapdragon is an evergreen shrub with a bushy growth habit and fragrant yellow or white flowers. It is an excellent choice for borders, mass plantings, and informal hedges. Its foliage is an attractive dark green and its stems are often covered with small hairs. Snapdragon blooms in late spring and early summer with long-lasting flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators.

2. Snapdragon seeds are small, dark brown, and oval-shaped with a pointed tip. The seeds are surrounded by a thin, translucent husk that easily breaks away when ripe. The seeds can be harvested when the pods turn brown and dry. They can be planted directly into the soil or started indoors.

3. Snapdragon plants prefer well-drained soil in full sun or dappled shade. They are fairly drought-tolerant once established and do not require much pruning or maintenance. They will benefit from a deep watering every few weeks during hot, dry weather.

4. Snapdragon plants are easy to propagate from seed. Sow the seeds directly into the soil in the spring, or start them indoors in the late winter. Snapdragon plants can also be propagated by taking softwood cuttings in the summer.

5. Snapdragon plants are beautiful additions to any garden and are perfect for attracting butterflies and other pollinators. They are also easy to grow, low-maintenance, and provide long-lasting blooms. Plant some Snapdragon in your garden to add color and texture for months to come.
