1. Thuja is a coniferous evergreen tree that grows up to 40 meters in height. It is native to North America, Europe and Asia, and is widely used as an ornamental plant in parks and gardens. Its needles are light green to dark green in color, and the bark is reddish-brown. Thuja has a pyramidal shape with dense foliage, which makes it a great choice for privacy screening and hedging.

2. The nuts of the Thuja tree can be used for a variety of purposes. The nuts can be eaten raw, cooked, or used to make tea. They are also a great source of vitamin E, magnesium, and iron. The nuts can also be ground into a fine powder and used as a seasoning for food.

3. Thuja also produces a type of woody cone called a strobile. Strobiles can be found in the upper branches of the Thuja tree and are used to make essential oils. The essential oils from Thuja help to reduce stress and improve the immune system. They also have antifungal and antibacterial properties which make them great for treating skin conditions.

4. Another product made from Thuja are the seeds. The seeds are used for medicinal purposes and are believed to have many health benefits. They are high in fibre, and can be used to treat digestive problems, reduce inflammation and aid in weight loss.

5. Lastly, Thuja is often used to create a hedgerow or border around a property. The dense foliage of the Thuja tree provides a natural barrier and can be used to create a sense of privacy. The Thuja tree can also be pruned and shaped to create an attractive border to any garden.
