1. Verbena is a popular and hardy perennial plant. Its abundant clusters of small, colorful blooms are available in shades of pink, purple, red, white and lavender, making it a great choice as a border plant or as a ground cover. The plant produces a sweet, honey-like scent that is highly fragrant and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Its foliage is evergreen and grows to a height of up to 3 feet.

2. Verbena seeds are tiny and require careful planting and care. They need to be sown in well-draining soil that is moist and has been enriched with organic matter. The soil should also be kept at a temperature of 18-21°C. Plant the seeds approximately 1/16th inch deep and keep the soil moist with regular watering.

3. Verbena plants should be grown in full to partial sun and should be given plenty of fertilizer. The plant should be pruned regularly to encourage new growth and to keep it looking its best. It is also important to deadhead the spent blooms to promote new blooms and to reduce the risk of disease.

4. Verbenas are relatively disease and pest free, but they can be prone to powdery mildew. This can be controlled by regularly pruning the plant and avoiding overcrowding. If you notice any signs of disease, it is important to treat it immediately.

5. Verbenas are a great choice for gardeners who want colorful blooms and a sweet aroma in their garden. They are low-maintenance plants, so require very little effort to keep them looking their best. With the right care and attention, they will reward you with stunning blooms year after year.
