Larix Laricina, commonly known as the Tamarack, is a species of coniferous tree native to North America. It is a medium-sized tree, reaching heights of up to 30 metres at maturity. The trunk is slender and the bark is reddish-brown in colour. The leaves are needle-like and arranged in spirals around the twigs.
